It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of both Russell L. Lamb and Suzanne E. Lamb. Russell was born on December 7, 1930, in Plainfield, Wisconsin and left us on June 18, 2025. Suzanne was born August 5, 1931, in Fond du Lac, WI, and left us on June 23, 2025. Residing in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, Russell a retired mill worker for Consolidated working at the Biron Mill. Russell also served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the American Legion. Suzanne, a retired public-school teacher, devoted her life to nurturing young minds as an elementary school teacher at Biron and Grove Schools. where she was honored as Teacher of the Year in 1990. Her passion for education radiated in every classroom she occupied inspiring countless students throughout her remarkable career.
Alongside her late husband, Russell, she savored the joys of camping in the summers and wintering in Texas "where they were affectionately known as honorary Canadians." Suzanne and Russell had a particular fondness for traveling. especially cruising to Alaska, and the Panama Canal. They also went to Hawaii where they accompanied his mother to view the graveside of his late brother who died serving our country in WWII. Their love for card playing was well known and Russell had a love for the game cribbage which he extended to his family including his grandchildren. They were also founding members of the Lincoln High School Wrestling Matbackers. Russell also enjoyed watching the Milwaukee Brewers, the Wisconsin Badgers and Green Bay Packers, you could also find him on the golf course working on his golf game, which he did get 2 holes in one. In addition, Suzanne was an active member of the Association of Retired Teachers and the Christian Women's group.
Suzanne and Russell are survived by their children, Mark (Dawn) Lamb, Patrick (Tammy) Lamb, Kathryn (Dennis) Radtke and Deborah (William) Fuehrer, 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and Suzanne's brother, Thomas Tate. Suzanne and Russell will be remembered not only for their accomplishments but for their vivacious spirit, unfaltering faith, and their ability to bring joy to those around them. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Carlos and Karina from Arborview and Heartland Hospice for the compassionate care they provided for both Russell and Suzanne.
Private graveside services will be held.

Their life was a testament to the beauty of dedication, love, and resilience. Their memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know them. Please join us in celebrating Suzanne and Russell's life by sharing your memories and photos on their memorial pages.

Sue & Russ will be missed by everyone who knew them. I remember all the days and nights at wrestling meets and the long days at our tournaments. Such hard workers but always with a smile. I could go on for hours but will just say that my prayers go out to your families. They were great people!
