Suzanne "Sue" L. Schadd, 85, of Bonita Springs, Florida, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 6 p.m. at Hafemeister Funeral Home. Suzanne "Sue" Louise Hoppe was born on June 7, 1940, in Watertown to Edward and Eloise (née Zastrow) Hoppe. A 1958 graduate of Watertown High School, she went on to pursue higher education at UW-Whitewater. It was on that campus that she met Robert "Bob" Schadd.
Sue and Bob married on August 15, 1959 and together they raised two daughters, Marie and Beth. Outside of her devotion to her family, Sue worked in the office at Waukesha Central High School. She later continued her professional life in Middleton, focusing on bookkeeping, secretarial duties, and tax preparation.
Sue's hobbies included gardening, birdwatching, playing cards, watching football and mahjong. However, her greatest happiness came from the time she was able to spend with her family.
Sue is survived by her daughters, Marie (Corey) Webster of Milwaukee, and Beth Schadd of Boise, Idaho; her grandson, Kieran Webster; as well as nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Sue is preceded in death by her husband, Bob Schadd; her parents; and her brother, James "Jim" Hoppe.
