Patsy Suzanne “Suzy” Clark Green, 77, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2024 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Gaston County on October 16, 1947 to the late A.V. Clark and Dot Clark. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Monroe Green.
Suzy enjoyed reading, games on her phone and sports. She loved the UNC Tarheels. Suzy enjoyed playing basketball at Bessemer City High School for 4 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. Suzy worked as a supervisor in textiles for many years.
She is survived by her beloved daughters, Rhonda Morrow and Amy Jones; grandchildren, Ashley Simonds (Casey), Richard Jones, and Harley Boone (Joseph); great grandchildren, Sarah and Corey Simonds, Izzy, Josiah and Waylon Boone; brother, Wes Clark (Carolyn) and a sister, Belinda Clark (Dwight Canipe)
Family and friends will gather for visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2024 at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cancer Services of Gaston County, 306 South Columbia Street, Gastonia, NC 28054
