Sydney Ann Woods

Sydney Ann Woods was born on April 28th 1999, named after her late grandma "Annie". For the first few years of her life Sydney was known as "Buzzy" for her lack of hair that buzzed out in all directions. From a young child, Sydney had a strong competitive spirit and did not like to lose at anything. Even a friendly family game of "Poop on your neighbor" (yahoo). As Sydney grew older that competitive spirit only grew stronger in the form of sports and beating her sister at absolutely everything she could. In high school, Sydney found a love for Volleyball, Academics, and spending time with her friends.
Sydney graduated Camdenton High School in 2017 and made the venture up to University of Missouri in Columbia where she graduated Magna Cume Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Studies. While at Mizzou Sydney joined ZTA sorority where she made life long best friends. After her time at Mizzou she moved to the big city (St. Louis) and worked in the architectural field until her untimely passing.
Sydney was known for her outgoing personality that could light up any room that she walked in. She had true "Fomo" (fear of missing out) and was always on the move living life to the fullest. Sydney also adored her nephew Lincoln who she would facetime almost on a daily basis. Sydney's smile left an impact on everyone she met, and this world will truly not be the same without it.
Sydney is survived by her parents Scott and Jennifer Woods; her sister Jordyn Moore (Cooper); nephew Lincoln Moore; grandparents Ray and Linda Woods. Sydney was preceded in death by grandparents John and Judy Hickman and Grandmother Ann Woods.
Celebration of Life will be on Saturday from 3-5 at Freedom Church, 826 N Business Rte 5, Camdenton, MO 65020,
