I ran track with Sylvester in high school. We used to call him "cat", after Sylvester the cat. Sylvester was easy going and well liked. We went to the same church, Mt. Zion A.M.E. church, and had many of the same friends. We were in the same boy scout troop as kids; he will be sorely missed.
