Sylvia E. Bluck

Sylvia E. Bluck, age 89 of Parrish, Florida and formerly of Midland, passed away March 15, 2024 at her home. She was born in Ashby, Minnesota on December 5, 1934 to the late Jacob and Lillian (Elberling) Balgaard. She married Walter Bluck in Detroit on November 27, 1964.
Sylvia loved her animals and was a big fan of the Detroit Tigers. Her greatest love were the countless babies she cared for, cuddled, and raised. In her later years she cared for elderly friends and family. Her caring, loving, sweet soul will be greatly missed.
Surviving are her children, Lynn Bluck (Edward Leary), Sharon Sierralta (Ignacio Sierralta-Loayza); grandchild, Austin David Moll; and special nieces, Maryann Walsh and Janice Walsh. In addition to her parents, Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Bluck; grandson, Michael David Moll; and siblings, Arlene Walsh, Gordon Balgaard, Laverne Balgaard, Orris Balgaard, and Delaney Balgaard.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Rev. Christopher Vossler will officiate with burial to be in New Edenville Twp Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10 am until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be offered to the wishes of the family. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson MILLER Funeral Home.
