SYLVIA GREEN Obituary

She was born on September 27, 1946 in Kittanning, PA to Vernon and Leonora Wolfe.
For more than 50 years, Sylvia shared her talent as a dedicated hairdresser and co-owner of Salon Rapunzel. She also devoted 35 years to the Indian River Memorial Hospital, where she made lasting friendships and retired in January 2025.
Sylvia lived a full and joyful life surrounded by the people and activities she loved the most. She had a great passion for traveling the world, always seeking out new experiences and memories.
At home, she found joy in the simple pleasures – reading a good book, camping, fishing, boating and spending time with family and friends. She especially loved cooking; creating delicious meals that brought everyone together and filled her home with laughter and love.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Leonora Wolfe. She is survived by her children Richard, Sherman and Tiffany; grandchildren Kennedy, Myles, Rawlins, and Ricky.
Sylvia will be remembered for her kind heart, her faith, and the love she showed to everyone around her.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 2206 16th Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
