Benson, NC:  Mrs. Sylvia Ann Parker Horton, age 59, of Raleigh Road died Wednesday, October  31, 2018 at her residence.  Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson.  Officiating will be Rev. Glenn Mc Cullen.  Entombment will follow at  Roselawn Cemetery in Benson.              Mrs. Horton was born January 23, 1959 in Harnett County to Bobby Vinson Parker of Benson and  the late Mary Tyner Parker. She worked at Meredith College in the Graduate Student Admissions Department.             Survivors in addition to her father include, husband of 42 years, Dwayne Horton; daughters and sons-in-law, Amanda Horton and Phil Avery of Four Oaks, Rebecca and Mitchell Wilson of Calistoga, CA and Candice and Timothy Messer of Dunn; grandchildren, Trent Messer, Addison Avery and Easton Messer; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Wesley Oliver of Benson; several nieces and nephews.             The family will receive friends 6:00PM - 8:00PM Friday, November 2, 2018 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home of Candice and Timothy Messer, 4742 Woods Crossroads Road, Dunn, NC 28334.             In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue & Rehabilitation Ctr., P. O. Box 2095, Surf City, NC 28445 or Pancreatic Cancer Action Network at PanCAN (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network).org/donate or mail to 1500 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266.             Arrangements by Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC.
