Sylvia Sue (Wicks) Kimball, 76, of Oak Harbor went to be with the Lord on July 17, 2025 of natural causes.
Sylvia, or Susie, as family and friends called her, resided at Riverview Health Care Campus in Oak Harbor, OH. She was born on September 14, 1948 to the late Richard and Helen Wicks. Sylvia was a graduate of Salem-Oak Harbor High School, Class of 1966.
Sylvia was one of a kind, she had the gift of gab and enjoyed talking to anyone. She was a good Christian lady that loved listening to Sunday sermons and Christian music. She enjoyed talking about places she had been, family and friends and how nice it will be when she goes to heaven. Im sure Sylvia is home and we will all see her in paradise.
Sylvia in survived by her sister: Rosemary Smith of New York; son: James (Patti) Essman, Jr. of Findlay; granddaughters: McKenna Essman and Madison Essman. Besides her parents, Sylvia is preceded in death by her son: Justin Essman of Bowling Green; brother: Donald Wicks and brother-in-law: Don Smith.
Per Sylvias request no services will be held.
Any donations may be given in her name to: Ottawa County Senior Health Care Campus, 8180 W. St. Rte. 163, Oak Harbor, OH 43449.
