Sylvia Scharff Obituary
Sylvia R. (Moyer) Scharff, 79, of Bernville, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023, in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
Born on March 25, 1944, she was a daughter to the late Richard S. and Anna P. (Stoudt) Moyer. She was the wife of the late Richard S. Scharff who passed away on September 18, 2004. She is survived by her companion of 18 years, Robert C. Miller.
Sylvia was a member of Host Church in Bernville. She was a member of the Farmwomen Group and the 50-plus club. Sylvia loved being in the kitchen but her greatest joy was being a Mom and Grandmother.
In addition to her companion, Robert, Sylvia is survived by her children, Michael T. Scharff, husband of Cindy, of Flower Mound, TX, Brian Scharff of Shillington, and Lisa A. Scharff of Bernville. Also surviving are grandchildren, Annalisa, Aubrey, Brett, Dalton, John, and Drew; Great grandson Liam; Robert's Great-great grandchildren Carson and Declan Haugney and Fritz Ruby and one brother, Herbert H. Moyer, husband of Carol of Fleetwood.
Sylvia was predeceased by her brothers Albert, William, and Kenneth.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Strausstown Cemetery in Strausstown.
Kirkhoff Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
