Sylvia "Sib" Denning Obituary
Benson, NC: Mrs. Sylvia “Sib” Bryant Denning, age 74, of East Harnett Street passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM Thursday, September 7, 2023 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Glenn McCullen and Mr. Robie Clifton. Burial will follow in Devotional Gardens in Dunn.
Mrs. Denning was born on September 26, 1948 in Harnett County to the late William Brantley and Lessie Mae Lee Bryant. She was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia B. Jones. Mrs. Denning retired from Dixie Denning in Benson after several years. She enjoyed working in her yards, cooking, shopping and spending time with her Sisters. Mrs. Denning deeply loved all of her family, especially her devoted daughter, Christy.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Carl “Junior” Denning, Jr.; daughter, Christy Denning of Benson; sister, Debbie Clifton and husband, Robie of Benson; brother, Bill Bryant and wife, Kim of Benson; several special nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home.
