Mrs. Sylvia Carol Bond Stewart age 69 of McMinnville, TN, died Monday, July 15, 2024, at her residence. She was born December 15, 1954, in McMinnville, TN, a homemaker and a member of Gath Baptist Church. Sylvia was also a well-known cake decorator, loved to sing, loved Jesus, enjoyed her church, and enjoyed people. Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by parents Carl Wilburn Womack and Gladys Ethel Jones Womack, husband Gary Austin Bond, husband Walter Kenneth Stewart, two brothers Carl Michael Womack and Steve Randall Womack.
Survivors include children Kelvin Bond, Derick Bond, and Vanessa (Drew) Walker, step-daughter Kennette Dixon, grandchildren, Jacob (Destiny) Bond, Dakota (Madison) Bond, Kara (Caleb) Ware, Michelle Bond, Isabella Bond, Caleb Bond, Levi Bond, Peyton Bond, Gideon Walker, Grayson Walker, Kingston Walker, Willow Walker, Piper Walker, McKenna (Justin) Proffitt, and Allie (Tyler) Morton, and great-grandchildren Rheilyn Bond, Avery Bond, Elias Ware, Titus Ware, Emerie Ware and more on the way, sisters Reba (Ken) Bond and Lisa Womack.
Funeral services were conducted July 19, 2024, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Providence Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Meals on Wheels.
