TJ Land, a beacon of light and love to all who knew him, passed away on November 2, 2025, at age 47 in Heath, Texas. Born on November 2, 1978, in Kansas City, Missouri to Gary and Cheryl Land, TJ embodied a spirit of genuine connection and unwavering affection throughout his life.
He is survived by his adoring wife, Ronda Land, who he was married to for 13 blissful years. They share five beautiful daughters--Brooklyn, Rhythm, Charlee, Steele, and Jolee--who will cherish his memory as a loving, devoted father. TJ was the beloved son of Gary and Cheryl and a caring brother to Karissa Partin, Ethan Land, and Terra Wortley. He also leaves behind many adored nieces, nephews, and loving friends who will remember his warmth and generosity.
TJ was a man who never met a stranger. His magnetic personality drew people in, and his capacity for love turned acquaintances into lifelong friends. Always the life of the party, TJ had an admirable ability to uplift everyone around him. His love for karaoke was infectious, and his performances were a highlight of any event and produced so much joy and laughter. TJ's passion for cooking shone through in everything he did. A devoted chef, with a lifelong passion for cooking, TJ shared his talent by opening several restaurants throughout the years. He found true joy in bringing people together through food, nourishing his community, family, and friends.
A selfless man who was committed to serving others, TJ's compassionate actions and his comforting presence made a lasting impact on his community. His faith was the cornerstone of his existence, guiding him as he navigated life's challenges and triumphs. TJ's relationship with God was evident in his passion for helping those in need.
As a devoted family man, TJ was the epitome of a loving husband, dad, son, and brother. His daughters' friends looked up to him and often considered him a father figure, and he embraced this role with open arms and an open heart. TJ's bond with his mother was especially deep, and his reputation as a "mama's boy" was a testament to the strength of their connection.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, November 14, 2025 at Lakepointe Church-The Pier.
