T. Walter Claycomb, 90, of Osterburg, died on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Nancy’s Personal Care Home. He was born on December 6, 1935 in Lovely, a son of the late Chelcea W. and Jenny R. (Rowser) Claycomb. On July 15, 1993, in West Virginia, he married Shirley A. (Price) Smith-Claycomb and she preceded him in death on April 5, 2018. He is survived by three sisters: JoAnn Eshelman of Shelby, OH, Edna Smith of Everett, and Wilma Claycomb of Everett; and a sister-in-law: Barbara Claycomb of Shelby, OH. He was preceded in death by five sisters: Lillian Musselman, Evelyn Amick, Ardella Mowry, Iona Mellott, and Iva Jean Foor; and two brothers: Floyd Claycomb and Clayton Claycomb.
Walter worked as a laborer for many places throughout his working career. He enjoyed gardening, jigsaw puzzles, watching tv, and hunting.
