Publish in a newspaper

Tabbetha Ann Troy of Midland, Michigan, entered the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 21, 2025, with a devoted and loving family by her side. Tabbetha was born on March 27, 1969, in Bay City, Michigan.
Tabbetha had a strong faith. She was a devout Catholic and member of the St. Brigid Catholic Church in Midland, Michigan. She wrote faith-filled Instagram and Facebook posts filled with inspiration and devotion on a daily basis.
Tabbetha's life was dedicated to others. For several years, she was a substitute teacher for the public school system and enjoyed volunteering in the classrooms with the special needs children. With the birth of her daughter Natasha, Tabbetha became her 24-hour caregiver, fighting against Cerebral Palsy. Ultimately, Natasha entered the Gates of Heaven in 2009 at the age of 6.
Family will remember Tabbetha by her jovial and selfless character, her wonderful cooking, her love for horses and yorkies, and the many times camping and fishing along the banks of the AuSable River. She was a warrior of Christ and a warrior of strength, in her fight against breast cancer.
Tabbetha is survived by her husband Tim Troy of 30 years; her daughter Sarah Troy; her brothers, Roger Scott Jr. (Angie) and Dennis Scott (Shannon); her sister Kelly Scott Fisher; her step-sister Sherry Beach; and her nieces and nephews, Kamryn Scott, Kailey Freed (Matt), Klaire Scott, Karson Scott, Nathan Scott, Sarah Scott, Abby Scott, Amanda Scott, Lee Fisher, Taylor Pumford (Dustin), Cody Bryant, Brianna Randall, Danica Randall, and Arianna Randall.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Natasha Troy; her father Roger Scott Sr.; and her mother Judy (Beach) Wheeler.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 3:00 PM until the start of the Vigil Service at 6:00 PM at the Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 W. Wheeler St., Midland. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Brigid Catholic Church, 207 Ashman St., Midland with Live Streaming on the church's website. Interment will follow in the New Calvary Cemetery in Midland.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure would be appreciated.
