Tad Flugge, born Aug. 16, 1929, entered into Eternal Life, on June 18, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Hazel Flugge, son, Mark, brother, Eldon and wife Mildred, sisters Marjorie Flugge, Eleanor Timmons and husband Robert, Kathleen and husband, Dick, and brother, Edward.

He is survived by his beloved and devoted wife, Nadine of 74 years, and loving family, cherished son, Michael (Beverly), former daughter-in-law, Lisa Jelle, grandchildren, Erin Barker (Dustin), Adam (Chris), Erika Moore (Chris), and Great Grandchildren, Kayla (Jonathon), Jacob Barker, Mark Moore, sister-in-law Ethel Flugge and many dear nieces and nephews.

Tad graduated from West Jefferson High School, attended OSU, was a veteran of the Korean War, and retired from the City of Columbus. He attended Eastview U.M.C. and enjoyed working in the food pantry.

A humble and caring man, he loved working in his yard and home, seeing Mark perform, walking, exercising, reading, and was an avid Buckeye and pro-football fan. His greatest pride was his family, whom he loved being with and helping with various projects or wherever needed.

He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.

Funeral Arrangements by Evans Funeral Home, 4171 E. Livingston Ave on Monday, June 23, 2025, where the calling hours will be at 12:00 noon, the funeral at 1:00 PM , followed by internment at the Maplewood Cemetery, New Albany.
