Tamara Ringstaff Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hurst Scott Funeral Home on May 5, 2023.
Tamara Shea Ringstaff, age 64, of Richlands Virginia, passed away peacefully surrounded by her entire family who valued her immensely at VCU medical hospital in Richmond Virginia, on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, after her difficult battle against cancer. She was a strong warrior who battled cancer with unwavering courage and grace.
Tami was born in Richlands, Virginia on April 27, 1959, and was the daughter of Edwin Earle Ringstaff and Patsy McGee Ringstaff. She was a Richlands High School graduate from the class of 1977 and a lifelong resident of Lake Park. She dedicated her life to serving others through her work in dentistry and public service. She found comfort through her amazing artwork that brought peace to herself and many others.
Tami was a woman of immense strength and character, who faced her illness with a tenacity that inspired all who knew her. Throughout her struggle, she never lost sight of what truly mattered to her: her family and friends. She valued them immensely and never failed to express her love and appreciation for them. Her warm smile, infectious laugh, and kind heart will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched.
Tami was a shining example of a true lady, with a heart full of love and respect for everyone around her. She was always quick to offer a helping hand or a listening ear to those in need, and her selflessness and generosity knew no bounds. No one can speak ill of Tami, for she touched every life she encountered in a positive and meaningful way.
Tami's legacy of strength, love, and respect will live on through the many lives she touched, and the memories she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed by her loving child, family, and friends, who will always cherish the time they spent with her. Nothing will substitute the love she provided for her family and friends.
Your strength and grace in the face of adversity will never be forgotten, and your memory will live on in our hearts forever
Tami is survived by her only daughter and best friend, Madison Horne and her husband, Shane Horne of Richmond, VA and three loving brothers of Richlands, VA: Terry and wife, Kim Ringstaff, Scott and wife, Diane Ringstaff, and Tony and wife, Jennifer Ringstaff.
