Tamarah Deanna Davis, age 35, a resident of Biloxi Mississippi, passed away on March 12, 2025, following a 5-year battle with breast cancer.
She was born on Andrews Air Force Base near Suitland, MD on November 26, 1989. She is the eldest daughter of Billy Ellis and Sonya C. White. Tamarah grew up in Waldorf, MD and graduated from Westlake High School in 2007. She then continued her education at Liberty University and received a bachelor’s degree in religion in 2021. The same year, Tamarah was accepted to the religion master’s program at Harvard University, but was unable to complete her studies due to her focus on her family and cancer treatments.
Tamarah was married to Caidoz Davis on March 31, 2013. She is the mother of two beautiful daughters, Adore-Gabrielle Davis, age 14, and Arianna Davis, age 11. Though Tamarah worked in multiple fields during her life, her passion was serving the Lord. With a gift of apologetics and prophecy, Tamarah served as a Minister from the age of 21 and regularly evangelized through singing and liturgical dance. Through her ministry, Tamarah touched the lives of countless people world-wide and helped bring souls to Christ.
Tamarah took great pride in her advocacy. Following her diagnosis in 2020, Tamarah became an advocate for breast cancer awareness. She shared her story with people around the world and showed how one maintains faith and perseveres through life’s greatest trials.
Tamarah is survived by husband Caidoz Davis; parents Billy Ellis and Sonya White; 3 siblings Alexis Rosendo (Colton), Jeffrey Ellis (Keona) and Angelah Ellis; 2 daughters Adore-Gabrielle Davis and Arianna Davis; 2 grandparents James Black and Melinda White; 4 nieces/nephews Knolin Rosendo, Karcen Rosendo, A’ron Ellis, and Da’Rae Ellis; and a multitude of aunts, uncles and cousins.
