With a heart full of spirit and a generous soul, Tammy Krug (Brosam), She entered into glory on April 2, 2025 after a long battle with COPD. Born and raised in Oak Grove, Missouri, she resided in Neck City, Medock, Carl Junction and Joplin, where she spent 61 years of her courageous life, Tammy was a beacon of empathetic compassion and witty creativity. She was a woman whose dedication was as unwavering as her loyalty, a woman who loved deeply and was deeply loved in return. As Helen Keller once said, "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart," and Tammy was an embodiment of this truth.
Tammy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had an affinity for nature, often found mowing the lawn, feeding the fish, or feeding deer, finding peace in these serene moments. Tammy was a dedicated LPN for the surrounding area for 15+ years. She provided families with kindness and smiles. She was also a passionate member of the Jail Ministry and AA Support, extending her hand to those who needed it most. Yet, what mattered the most to Tammy was her love for God, her family, and her cats.
Tammy was a woman of many roles - a beloved wife since November 26, 1999, a beloved mother, a cherished sister, and a dear friend. She is survived by her loving husband Terry Krug of the home; daughter Mandy (Keith) Humphrey; sisters Rhonda (Harry) Harrison, Christy Cole, Cindy Brosam, and Misti (Joe) Burton; Grandchildren, Gloria (Andrew) Doyle, Ella Humphrey and Jack Humphrey; Great-Grandchildren, Judah Doyle, Juno Humphrey and Denver Humphrey. Preceding her in death were her parents, Lawrence and Gloria Brosam. Remembering Tammy, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and the countless ways she touched our hearts.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday April 10, 2025 at Simpson Funeral Home in Carl Junction at 5:00pm.
We invite everyone whose life was touched by Tammy to share their memories and upload photos to her memorial page. Celebrate Tammy's life by remembering the joy and love she so generously gave to us all. As we hold her in our hearts, we continue to feel the warmth of her love and the strength of her spirit. As Emily Dickinson said, "Unable are the loved to die, for love is immortality." Tammy, indeed, is immortal in the love she left behind.
