Tammy Ann Sears, age 58, passed away on October 12, 2024, at the age of 58. Born on June 15, 1966, in Jackson, Michigan, Tammy's life was one of service, love, and creativity.
Tammy's early years were spent in the town of her birth, where she attended East Jackson High School. Her spirit of dedication was evident early on, and after graduation, she answered the call to serve her country by enlisting in the United States Marines.
After her honorable discharge, Tammy returned to her hometown. She was known for her generous heart. Tammy's interests were many, but she had a particular passion for crocheting.
She is survived by her three loving children, Henry Joseph Perdue III of Garden City, Joshua Perdue of Jackson, and Jeremy (Doug) Bishop of Port Huron. Her joy was multiplied with the birth of her grandson, Brenden, who brought her immeasurable happiness. Tammy also leaves behind her siblings, Rick, Lisa, and Michael, as well as many adoring nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss her deeply.
Tammy's memory will be cherished and kept alive through the stories told and the lives she touched. Her family takes comfort in knowing that her spirit will continue to guide and inspire them in all their endeavors.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation held an hour prior to service at St. James United Church of Christ, 9008 Meisner Road, Casco, MI 48064. Rev. Dr. Ken Gadd will officiate. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery, 9008 Meisner Road, Casco, MI 48064.
Arrangements were entrusted to Grace Memorial.
Memorials in her memory are suggested to "Wishes of the Family".
