Tammy Marie Walker, age 64, passed away January 28, 2024. She was born November 18, 1959 to Ronald and Carolyn Sanders.
Tammy was a beautiful and loving person. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially traveling and camping with her beloved husband. They made many memories on their trips such as snorkeling in the Virgin Islands and camping at the edge of the Grand Canyon. She was always up for an adventure. She liked to cook and try new recipes and she enjoyed gardening at her mountain home. Tammy loved her family, including her cats. She was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Those left to cherish her memories include her husband of 45 years, Alex Walker; son, Christopher Walker (Julie Malone); parents, Ronald and Carolyn Sanders; brother, Steve Sanders (Amanda); sisters-in-law, Debbie Spies (Ron), Kelly Crane (Gary), and Megan Walker (David); brother-in-law, Patrick Walker; aunt, Jane Sanders-Ressler; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2024 at Mountain City Funeral Home with Pastor Daniel Thomas officiating.
