Beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend passed away on October 30, 2023, at at the age of 61 years.
Tammy was born on November 21, 1961, in Owosso, MI to parents Michael Babion and the late Donna (Harris) Girard. She was a proud graduate of Merrill High School, class of 1980. Tammy had a green thumb and loved gardening and crafting. Above all else, she cherished time spent with her grandchildren. Tammy will be remembered as being outspoken and caring and for fiercely loving her children and grandchildren.
Tammy is survived by her four children: Warren Yancer of Merrill, Tara (Eric) Dombrowski of Freeland, Mindy (Justin) Miller of Merrill, and Jeanette (Jacob) Clemens of Wheeler; eight grandchildren: Deric, Dausen and Taylor Dombrowski, Luke and Sawyer Miller, and Jack, Natalie, and Danielle Clemens; father and step-mother Michael and Ruth Babion, two siblings: Brenda (Dan) Hillaker and Valarie (Rick) Franzel; a close friend of the family Jim Burgess, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She was predeceased by her mother and step-father Donna and Stan Girard, brothers: Michael E. Babion and Brian Girard; a beloved friend and the father of her children, Jack Yancer.
Funeral service will take place at 11:00 am on Monday, November 6, 2023, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 10020 East Monroe Road Wheeler, Michigan 48662. Pastor Michael Podeszwa will officiate. Honoring Tammy's wishes cremation will take place following services. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Immanuel Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to W.L.
