Tanya M. Hooks was born May 18, 1963 in Newark, NJ to the late Charles L. and Mamie Pitt. She entered eternal rest January 8, 2024 in Edison, NJ.
She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband Fred L. Hooks, Jr; her children Lashonda and Louis M. Pitt, Fred L. Hooks III and Tiana C. Hooks; five grandchildren; her siblings Charles Pitt, Jr., Carl Pitt, Sr. (Melissa), Cameron Pitt, Sr. (Rosalind) and Jade Pitt.
