Tara Marie Wright (Francis) “Bubbles,” age 52, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Ohio State University Medical Center. She was born on April 23, 1973, in Columbus, Ohio, to Ricky Alan Francis and Terry Lynn Toner (Bilby).
Tara began dating the love of her life, Matthew Wright, on October 3, 1999, and they were married on October 4, 2007, sharing 26 wonderful years together. She loved camping, fishing, kayaking down the river, watching the Bengals and Buckeyes play football, and spending time with her family and friends. Tara truly loved life and lived it to the fullest. Her greatest achievement was raising her children, whom she loved deeply and took immense pride in. Her greatest blessing, however, was her grandson, Cullen “Boog” — a light in her life who brought her immeasurable joy and filled her heart with pride.
She is survived by her husband, Matthew Wright; son, Todd Sherman (Paige Murdoch-Sherman); daughters, Paige Sherman (Judith Gundlach) and Brianna Neighbor ; grandson, Cullen Sherman; mother, Terry Toner (Bilby); Dad, Michael Toner; mother-in-law, Maria Mixon; brothers, Charles Francis, Jonathan Francis (Kaitlyn Francis), Patrick Liming (Debbie Liming), and Eric Liming; sisters, Amy Francis and Alonya (Berry) Johnson (Paul Johnson); as well as many aunts, nieces, nephews, friends and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ricky Alan Francis; grandparents, Madonna Miller and Norman Miller, and Lena Marie Bilby; uncle, Monte Miller; and aunt, Norma Jean Suter.
Tara was more than a mother, daughter, aunt, grandmother, or wife — she was the heart of our family and the place where love lived. She was our home. We will carry her love with us always, but the ache of losing her is something no time can heal. We will miss you forever, Mom. — “WHO DEY”
