Tard Lenard Leath was born in Orange County, North Carolina to Sharon Leath and Dwight Lee Howard Garner. Following a period of declining health, Todd as he was more commonly known, passed away surrounded by the light of love and the presence of his loving family.
Todd loved his family and being around them at all times. These moments were instrumental in framing him into the Father, Brother, Uncle Nephew and friend he was. Todd knew who God was and how powerful His might is. He would often share deep conversations about the love of God.
Todd loved to be sharpe! He held a large collection of hats to coordinate with all of his outfits. Todd was a sports fanatic. He loved basketball and especially NC State Football "GO PACK"
He leaves loving and lasting memories to his daughter: Joslyn Mims; three granddaughters: Landan, Cadence, Kristopher "Boo-Boo"; two sisters: Michelle Leath and Tameka Slade; maternal aunts: June Shoffner and Christine Leath; paternal aunts: Marie Faye Steward (Reverend George), Stella Fields and Portia Garner; nieces & nephews: Keosha Foust, Tiara Leath, Juwunn Leath, Dontae Leath and great-nephews: Matthew Johnson, Jr. and Na'mel Troxler as well as many other cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his maternal grandparents: Clyde & Pauline Leath; paternal grandparents: Elwood & Madge Garner; and a brother Darrell Leath.
