Tashia McCullar Branan, age 65, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, August 3rd at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Rogers and Justin Raley officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Creek Primitive Baptist Cemetery.
Tashia was born in Milledgeville, Georgia on December 18, 1959, to the late Charles Lanier McCullar and Barbara Joan Newsome McCullar. She was a lifelong resident of Milledgeville and a graduate of John Milledge Academy She was retired from J.C. Penny. Tashia was a talented Artist and spent many hours painting Bird Houses. She truly loved the Lord and her family. She was preceded in death by her son Cason "Casey" Lanier Branan, her father Charles McCullar and grandparents Charlie and Jewell McCullar.
Survivors include her husband David Scott Branan of Milledgeville, a daughter April Branan Raley (Justin) of Milledgeville, her mother Joan Newsome McCullar of Milledgeville, two, grandchildren Chase Allen Raley and Hannah Marie Raley.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 until 2:30 p.m. at Moores Funeral Home.
Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to Emanuel Baptist Church 384 Gordon Hwy, Gordon, GA 31031.
