Taylor Renee' Shelton

Taylor Renee' Shelton, of the Glenwood community, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. Funeral services will be at 3:00pm on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Green Hills Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Henderson officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:30pm. Burial will be Sunday, June 30, 2024, in Albertville, Alabama. 

Taylor graduated in 2015, from Zion Chapel High School, and she went on to get an associate’s degree in industrial electronics at LBW Community College. She was recently employed at Fort Novosel as an IT technician. Taylor loved riding and racing ATVs and the beach was her “happy place.” She loved swimming and playing with her daughter, Payson. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Taylor was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Joseph Hugh Harris and Donald Wayne Shelton; and her cousin, Kira Elkins. Survivors include her beloved daughter, Payson Jade Shelton; her parents, Stephen & Misty Harris Shelton; her sister, Savannah Shelton; and grandparents, Patricia Harris, Myra & Lendell Benefield. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Payson Shelton Scholarship at Max Credit Union for the care of Taylor’s daughter.  The staff of Green Hills Funeral Home is honored to serve the Shelton family.
