Ted D. Clark

Ted D. Clark, a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 3rd, surrounded by his children. He was 86 years old.
Ted dedicated 33 years of his professional life to IBM Corporation. After retiring from IBM, he continued to serve his community with compassion and care through 27 years of work at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home. His strong work ethic, kindness, and steady presence left a lasting impression on colleagues and families alike.
A faithful member of Southland Christian Church, Ted was a good Christian man whose life reflected his values of love, humility, and service to others.
Fondly known as "Tedo," he was deeply loved and respected by all who knew him. His warmth, quiet strength, and devotion to family defined his life and legacy.
Ted is survived by his children: Allyson Walson, Megan Creasey (Tom), Shelley Baker (Mark), and Ty Clark (Sondra). He was the proud grandfather of nine wonderful grandchildren: Jake Walson (Taylor), Clark Creasey, Ragan Clark, Savannah Settles (Lannon), Calloway Young (Cameron), Caroline Velasquez (Joey), Andrew Clark, John Clark Baker, Maxwell Clark, and ten great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Carolyn Stuecher, Clearwater, Florida.
Ted was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Barbara Clark, and by his sister, Janice Clark.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 9th, at 11:00 a.m., with a service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home on Harrodsburg Road.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, church family, and all whose lives he touched. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Southland Christian Church Dollar Club or Bluegrass Care Navigators.
