Ted Kevin Feasel, 54, of Greenfield, passed away on the evening of Monday, July 7, 2025, at Hancock Regional Hospital.
He was born on June 8, 1971, in Indianapolis, Indiana, a son of the late Jack and Emma (Lachmann) Feasel.
Ted was a 1989 graduate of Greenfield Central High School. He worked in a number of occupational fields before settling on a career and becoming a skilled professional in IT and computer networking roles, where his keen intellect, analytical mind, and interest in how things work served him well.
A man of conviction, Ted attended Heather Hills Baptist Church in Indianapolis for many years and shared a love of Biblical learning with his father. A loyal son, he devoted untold hours assisting his mother with household projects after the passing of his father.
Ted loved animals, tinkering and building computers, and grilling out with his family. He was a Colts fan who enjoyed watching football, although he typically rooted for the underdog, in sports and in life.
Philosophical and always curious, Ted never hesitated to share his strong opinions on various matters. His irreverent sense of humor was often a source of enjoyment and laughter for those around him. Ted's manner was sometimes gruff, but those closest to him were fortunate to also know a softer side.
Those left to cherish Ted's memory include his wife, Nichole Leah Daniels-Feasel, whom he married on December 17, 2005, and his two children, whom he adored, Caden James Feasel and Zara Lynn Feasel.
The youngest of five siblings, Ted was a beloved brother to James (Nancy) Feasel of Morgantown, Denise (Jerry) Mooneyhan of Noblesville, and Karen Feasel of Raleigh, NC.
In addition to his parents, Ted was preceded in death by a brother, William Feasel.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Sproles Family Funeral Home in New Castle.
