Marta-Bel Colclazier

GREENFIELD – Marta-Bel (Mulligan) Colclazier, age 81, of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 11, 1944, to Andrew and Margaret (Wright) Mulligan. She graduated from Greenfield High School in 1962. Marta received her Business Degree from Indiana University Indianapolis in 1989. She worked for Indianapolis Power and Light Company for over 30 years before retiring in 2002. Marta was a member of New Life Christian Fellowship Church in Fortville. She enjoyed golfing, bible studies, and teaching Sunday School. Marta-Bel especially enjoyed spending time with and supporting her grandchildren with their activities. She is survived by her children, Lori (Dave) Young and Kent (Stephenie) Colclazier; eight grandchildren, Marshal (Kelley) Thompson, Zachary Young, Allyson Young, LeAnn (John) Antoine, Tyler (Kate) Colclazier, Alexandria (Shawn) Fogleman, Hope (Blaine) Bever, and Morgan (fiancé, Luke) Colclazier; twelve great-grandchildren with one on the way; two great great-grandchildren; brother, Drew (Judy) Mulligan; nephew, Jeff (Joanna) Mulligan; and faithful companion, Patches the Dog. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Margaret (Wright) Mulligan; and grandmother, Margaret Wright. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the mortuary. Dawn Anderson will be officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
