Donald Ray "Donnie" Strauser

SHELBYVILLE – Donald "Donnie" Ray Strauser, age 67, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Franciscan Health Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born in Linton, Indiana on June 28, 1958, to Donald Lee and Lena Darlene (Malone) Strauser. Earlier in his life, Donnie worked part-time at Share's Inc. in Shelbyville. He loved singing and being with his family. He is survived by his sister, Sharon (Tony) Schreiber; niece and nephew, Angela Schreiber and Adam (Kerri) Schreiber; and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A graveside service will be held the same day at 1:15 p.m. at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to the Especially Kidz, 2325 South Miller Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176. Envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
