Ted Jenkins Obituary

He was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping with his best friend, Frankie Deville. He was loved by all the neighborhood children and everyone, including his own children, used his preferred nickname "Deda". He was a strong man and when he spoke, he meant what he said, but he also had a soft side. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carnce and Verna Jenkins; one brother, Randy Jenkins, and one sister, Katherine "Pat" Hapney.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include one son, James Jenkins of Deville; two daughters, Melissa Jenkins of Lake Charles, and Keri Cole (Devan) of Effie; one sister, Charlene Elliott (Gary) of Kolin; three grandchildren Bailey Jenkins, Isabella Cole and Fischer Cole.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
