Ted "Junior" L. Faulkner Jr., a radiant spirit whose life was a testament to faith, family, and fervent passions, left this world on January 21, 2025, at his residence. Born on June 19, 1969, in Mecklenburg County, Junior emerged as a beacon of love and devotion, embodying the warmth imparted by his late parents, Ted Lee Faulkner Sr. and Linda Jean Hucks Faulkner.
Throughout his years, Junior embraced life with a fervor matched by few. He cultivated a career at Fiberworks Composites in Mooresville, NC, where his steadfast dedication and dependable nature made him a cherished member of the workplace family. Yet, it was alongside his own family that he truly thrived. A firm believer in the Lord, Junior found joy in every gathering, relishing the moments spent with children—Brittni Beesley, Samantha Rathburn (Luke), and Tiffany Faulkner (Gavin Rosenbaum)—and cherishing every giggle and smile from his grandchildren, who were the very essence of his heart: Isabella, Ilaina, Ivorie, Diana, Sebastian, Addyson, Sylas, and Odyn.
Beyond family ties, Junior’s spirit danced freely in the waters of his beloved fishing excursions. There was magic in the hum of his cherished 1970 Classic Chevy Chevelle, as he skillfully restored and worked on muscle cars—a project that ignited his passion and showcased his meticulous craftsmanship. His sisters, Renee Faulkner and Wendy Cullember (Mike), and brother Bobby Faulkner (Tanya) will forever mourn the loss of their gentle yet lively brother, while his nieces, Tina, Tammy, Wendy Leigh, and Brooklyn will carry the warmth of his memory always.
The legacy of "Junior" will be honored during a visitation on January 27, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service officiated by Pastor JC Taylor commencing at 1:00 PM, all taking place at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, located at 101 Oak Grove St., Mt. Holly, NC. Burial will follow the service at Norview Gardens Cemetery, Norwood, NC. As we gather to celebrate his life, we will remember a man who sowed love and faith into the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to call him family or friend. Though his earthly journey has concluded, the echoes of his laughter, heartfelt beliefs, and cherished memories will resonate within us for all time.
