Ted Kramer

Ted Kramer, 48, of Wyckoff, NJ, died Sunday, August 6, 2023. He is survived by his beloved wife, Tara and their two sons, Jacob Paul and Ryan Kyle; parents Alvin and Betty Ann Kramer; brother, Gary Kramer; grandmother, Irma Snider; sisters-in-law Kerin Hempel and Sarah Tsang Kramer; brothers-in-law Tyler Maganzini and Jason Hempel and his nieces and nephews Jane, Anne and William Hempel, and Ari Kramer; and his in-laws Anne & Anthony Maganzini
Ted cherished his family above all. He was a devoted father, the role he was born to fulfill more than any other on earth. He sparkled when he smiled. And his smile made the world around him bright.
Born and raised on the south shore of Long Island, in Long Beach, New York he was happiest near the water and in the sunshine. Ted had an endearing wit and great sense of humor. He was most delighted when he was preparing generous meals for family and friends and cheering for his boys on the playing field. He was the first to lend a hand to those he cared about. If a friend or colleague needed help, he was there. He relished learning new things and became a student of his interests – chess, golf, cooking, wine, and triathlons to name a few. He loved to travel with his family and took great pride in showing them the world. Ted's legacy of kindness, joyfulness, and appreciation for the fullness of life will live on through Tara and his children.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 11, 2023 from 4:00 – 7:00PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ, with a Celebration of Life to take place at 4:00PM.
