Ted worked as greens keeper at Tullymore Golf Resort near Canadian Lakes, and enjoyed playing video games and outdoor sports.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ted Arnold Pontz; his biological father, Daniel R. Oates; a niece, Lindsey Meador; and a nephew, Arron Pontz. Surviving are his mother, Cynthia L. Oates & Charley Carrier; three children, Daniel Robert Pontz, Alex Pontz, and Erica & Lucas Crusan; his siblings, Mandy & Jason Truxton, Samson & Tanya Pontz, and Maranda & Robert Cook; his aunts, Alberta & Jim Cornelius, Ronda Dare, and Jean Burghduff; his uncle, Anthony Shell; several grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and friends; and his special caregiver, Linda Daniels.
