Teddy Lee Grant, age 75, of Lincolnton, passed away June 27, 2025, at Sherrills Ford Hospice House. Ted was born November 16, 1949, in Lincoln County, to the late Albert Grant and the late Mary Harkey Grant.
Ted was a Veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed being outdoors; horseback riding, fishing, camping, and playing horseshoes. Ted also loved playing pool and poker.
In addition to his parents, Ted was preceded in death by his siblings, Ronnie “Butch” Grant, and Trish Abernathy; and brothers-in-law, Wayne Abernathy, and Tim Eades.
Survivors include his daughters, Crystal Grant Gragg, and Angela Grant Mayberry, and husband, Anson William Mayberry; grandchildren, Aidon Mayberry, and Ansleigh “Lani” Mayberry; sister, Charlene Eades; sister-in-law, Mary Grant; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Cross Country Campground – 6254 NC Hwy 150 E. Denver, NC 28037. The family will hold a private burial at Hollybrook Cemetery in Lincolnton.
