Teddy R. Greene Jr., 26, passed away on July 26, 2025. He was born on January 29, 1999 the son of Leah Collins and Ted Greene Sr. Teddy radiated warmth and kindness; his innate ability to helping others was one of his most remarkable gifts. He had an innate ability to uplift those around him, often lending a listening ear or a helping hand, leaving a loving mark on the hearts of his family, friends, and community.
Teddy's love for dirt biking began at an early age of 4 and was evident in his numerous trophies won during races. His enthusiasm for the sport was infectious. He took joy in fixing small engines, especially motorcycle engines. Teddy also enjoyed the outdoors, and fishing. Teddy will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Ted Greene.
Teddy is survived by his mother Leah (Scot) Collins; father Ted Greene Sr.; maternal grandparents, Donna & Lenny Scalia, and Dino & Melissa Alexander; paternal grandmother Corinne Greene; step-granmother Yvonne Stancil; siblings Autumn Wanchick, Blake Collins, and Ava Collins; beloved four-legged companion, Timber; and many other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, Monday, August 11th at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron) where services will be held at 6:00pm with Pastor Stephen Neumeyer officiating.
