Tedric Milton

Tedric Milton, a devoted husband, father, son, and friend, passed away on March 23, 2025, at the age of 42. Born on March 14, 1983, in Belleville, Illinois, Tedric was the cherished son of Theresa Milton. He grew up in Fairhope, Alabama, where he developed a love for sports, graduating from Fairhope High School in 2002.
Tedric went on to further his education at Alabama A&M University, where he also played football, demonstrating his dedication, discipline, and athleticism. He graduated with a Kinesiology degree in 2006, marking the beginning of his journey as an educator and mentor. Tedric's passion for helping others led him to pursue a Master's in Special Education from Northcentral University, which he completed in 2014.
A man of great faith, Tedric lived his life grounded in his belief in God, always striving to reflect kindness, compassion, and love in his daily interactions. He was a family man through and through, deeply committed to his wife, Lauren Norris-Milton, and their beautiful daughter, Demi Milton, of Corinth, Texas. Tedric's love for his family was unwavering, and his presence in their lives was a constant source of strength and joy.
Tedric had an undeniable gift for making others feel welcome and valued, offering a listening ear and a helping hand whenever it was needed. His deep sense of loyalty, compassion, and humor made him a friend to all, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Tedric's passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his legacy of faith, love, and generosity will endure. He is survived by his loving wife, Lauren; their daughter, Demi; his mother, Theresa Milton Williams; his siblings, Tayuonna (Larry) Jackson, Tyran (Dewanda) Milton, Terence Milton; and many extended family members and friends across Alabama, Texas, and beyond.
A memorial service to celebrate Tedric's life and honor his legacy will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Thousand Hills Church in Hickory Creek, Texas. The family invites all who knew Tedric to join in remembering the remarkable man he was and the profound impact he had on the lives of everyone around him.
Tedric will be deeply missed, but his spirit and love will continue to guide his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
