Teerdade Azari

Teerdade Azari was born July 4, 1969, in Oakland, California. He died tragically on October 1, 2023. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Azari; his cousins, Karmalita Binazir, and Amorita Bustos; half-sister Keyana; father, Javid Azari; preceded in death by his aunt Kathy Bustos; grandparents Mae and Clement Moser.
While attending school in Oakland, California, he studied Herpetology with a professor from U.C. Berkeley and began rescuing various species of snakes which you could find all around his home along with rescued dogs, and other various pets that he and his mother cared for. He loved tinkering with cars, especially classics, and also loved playing and attending live sports. He further pursued his interests in cars and auto mechanics, then trained and became a certified forklift driver. As time went on, his new interests included the rehabbing of sick and injured wildlife and their release back into the wild. He also added chickens to his list of rescues and talked of his plans to join his mother in opening a full-time rescue for all needy animals.
Teerdade is deeply missed by those who loved him.
