Terazita "Terrie" Sneezy-Longknifo's life is a reflection of love, service, and dedication. Born on December 28, 1963, in San Carlos, Arizona, she was the cherished daughter of Alice Mae (Nelson) Stanley and Baxter Sneezy, Sr. Her journey began at Rice Elementary school, where she attended kindergarten through 8" grade, followed by her graduation from Globe High School in 1980. Terrie's desire from growth and learning led her to complete business school in Phoenix, Arizona in 1982.
In May 1985, she took a bold step and joined the US Navy, serving her country with honor until her discharge on May 5, 1933. Her commitment to education continued at Northern Arizona University, where she earned an Associates of Applied Arts degree after attending several semesters. Terrie's professional life showeased her strong work ethic and dedication.
Beginning at Apache Gold Casino in Purchasing in 1994, she later joined San Carlos Apache Tribal Telecommunications in a similar role. Her career culminated as a supervisor in purchasing at Gila River
approached each role with diligence and a heart full of commitment.
More than her achievements, Terrie will be remembered by her boundless kindness and generosity. Her family was her greatest pride and joy, and loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren with all of her heart.
Terrie leaves behind her three children Lisa (Michael) Thomson Fuentes, Lance Longknife, and Alyssa Longknife. Grandchildren, Taylor Thompson, Teysean Lopez, Trinity Lopez, Xavier Lopez, Audri Fuentes, Michael Fuentes, Jr., Araya Longknife, Alec Longknife, Timothy Ferreira, Gabriel Dewey, Jr., and Venecio Dewey. Great grandchildren Uriah and Bennie Truax, who carry her legacy of.
She leaves behind a deer and cherished friend, Maria Steven’s, who is she lovingly regarded as a sister. She is remembered by her brothers, McIver “D-Boy” Sneezy and Baxter “JR” Sneezy as well as by her cherished, nieces and nephews and many other friends in relatives. She was proceeded in passing by her devoted parents, her grandparents Fergus and Cecelia Sneezy, Sr. And Dennis & Libby Nelson,Sr. And her beloved late husband, Roger Longknife. May her memory bring comfort to all who held her dear.
Terrie’s remembrance will remain a beacon of compassion and grace for all who knew her. Her love for her family and community touched many lives, leaving an inevitable mark on all of the hearts that she encountered.
