Teresa Ann Coleman, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on March 13, 2024, at the age of 54. She was born on November 12, 1969, in Springfield, IL, to John W. Coleman and Ruby (Horton) Coleman.
Teresa was a woman of resilience and determination. Despite not obtaining a traditional education, she obtained her GED in 2011, showcasing her commitment to personal growth and self-improvement. She was a self-employed individual, exemplifying her entrepreneurial spirit and independence.
One of Teresa's greatest joys in life was spending time with her family and friends. She cherished every moment she had with her daughter, Kendra Coleman Kelly, and son-in-law Justin. Her three grandchildren, Jayden, Kyla, and Kobe Kelly brought immense happiness to her life. A devout follower of the Lord, Teresa found solace and inspiration in her faith. She frequently attended Revelation Worship Center, where she found spiritual nourishment and a sense of community.
Teresa is survived by her parents, John (Delois Coleman) Coleman of West Memphis, AR, and Ruby Coleman. She is also survived by her siblings, Justin Coleman, Jason Appleberry, Patricia Coleman, Shawntell Coleman, and Aretha Coleman of Dallas, TX. Her loving presence will be deeply missed by her uncles and aunts, Thomas Faine Jr., Clifford Faine, Chuck (Ruth Ann) Faine, Jimmy Goodie, Lorraine Faine, Tina (William Levy) Dickerson, Neci Faine, and Sharon Faine. She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other cherished relatives, and dear friends.
Teresa is preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Clester Faine, and Catherine Coleman, as well as her grandfathers, RD Fain and Arnett Coleman. She was also preceded in death by her uncle, Robert Fain.
Teresa Coleman's warm and loving spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and unwavering faith. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
