Teresa Escobedo was born on March 28, 1935, in Vicente Guerrero, Durango, Mexico, to Dolores Molina and Francisca Calleros. A devoted mother and matriarch, she dedicated her life to raising her 12 children, whom she loved unconditionally and of whom she was immensely proud.
Teresa's love extended far beyond motherhood-she was also a cherished daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and friend. She was blessed with a beautiful, large family that grew to include 45 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, and many great-great-grandchildren, each of whom she adored deeply. Her kindness, strength, and love made her the heart of her family, and her presence will be forever missed.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Antonio Escobedo, and her eldest son, Guadalupe Escobedo. She is survived by her children: Anna Escobedo and husband Antonio Castrejon, Martha Escobedo and husband Jesse Sias, Maria Chavez and husband Salvador Chavez, Lorenzo Escobedo and wife Linda, Leonardo Escobedo and wife Dory, Juan Escobedo and wife Alicia, Antonio Escobedo and wife Graciela, Alejandro Escobedo and wife Barbara, Rodolfo Escobedo, Felipe Escobedo, and Socorro Escobedo. She is also survived by her brother, Blas Molina; sisters, Martha, Irene, Dolores, and Maria Molina; along with her 45 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, many great-great grandchildren and extended family and friends.
Teresa's legacy of love, faith, and family will continue to live on in all those who were fortunate to know her.
