Teresa Kusterer of Standish went home to the Lord on March 17, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. Teresa was born October 24,1960 in Bay City, MI to the late Mary (Lysaght) and Richard Kusterer. She was a graduate of Pinconning High school where she lived most of her life before moving to Standish.
Teresa was an excellent cook and enjoyed trying new recipes and feeding those she loved. Her favorite season was summer when she could go to the beach and be outside. She enjoyed gardening and always kept a beautiful yard with an abundance of flowers. Teresa loved to read and listen to music, as well as decorate her home. She had an open heart and a generous spirit which she put to service in her years as a childcare provider, library worker, and salesperson.
Teresa is survived by her best friend and significant other, Vic Charbonneau, her children Amanda (Paul) Netkowski, Chance (Melissa) Stodolak, and Bailey Linke. Brothers Steve (Darlene) Kusterer and Mike (Carrie) Kusterer as well as beloved grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father Richard Kusterer and Mother Mary Kusterer.
Family would like to give special thanks to Toni and Trish hospice house of Auburn, MI for giving Teresa much comfort and compassion in her last days.
As per Teresas wishes cremation will take place and there will be no service. In lieu of flowers those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a donation to the Toni and Trish Hospice House of Auburn, MI.
