Teresa Ann Mabie 59 of Cherry Valley NY passed away suddenly on March 31, 2023. She was born on November 20,1963 in Cooperstown, NY. She was predeceased by her father Robert Parshall and mother Mary (Chase) Burr. Also her grandmother Gladys Edwards who held a special place in her heart.
Teresa was raised in Cooperstown where she gained lots of friends while growing up. She is survived by her three children whom she dearly loved. John Parshall (Emily), Kimberly and Shannon Baxter.
Teresa met the love of her life and they became united together on September 15, 2007 and were married 15 1/2 years, but shared 26 years together. They enjoyed spending time together at The Brook for pizza and wings where they became good friends with Greg and Cathy, also Tryon Backdoor Inn and became good friends with Richard and Debbie, and at The Triangle Inn.
Teresa and Brian would go yearly to Americade Bike Rally in Lake George, watch Nascar and attended several "pig roasts".
If you spent time around Teresa you would catch her saying "Rut Roh Raghu" and couldn't help but laugh.
The way she would do the dishes FOR HOURS!! Her sisters would always try to make sure she didn't do the washing or we'd be there all night.
Teresa's greatest love was being called Nana by her eight grandchildren Trinity Alexis,Jemma, Gabby,Peyton, John, Alexander and Serenity.
Teresa loved and missed her dogs Tesha and Sassy and her Mama K cat. Her cat Kali will miss her a lot but Brian will spoil her rotten with to many treats.
She is survived by her siblings Frank (Sheila) Parshall, Delilah (Jim) Bouck, David (Donna) Parshall and Shirley Rupert, and best friend Peggy Southworth.
There will be two celebrations of life for Teresa on June 17th at Tryon Backdoor Bar in Cherry Valley,NY at 11:00am and another on July 22nd at The Brook in Roseboom,NY at 1:00pm.
Teresa so loved her flowers, lilac trees and hummingbirds. So please take time to smell the flowers and enjoy the hummingbirds in remembrance of her.
