Teresa Ann Mitchell

Teresa Ann (Gentry) Mitchell, 58, of Paris, Texas, entered eternal rest on November 1, 2024, following a courageous year-long battle with cancer. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 8, 2024, at Immanuel Baptist Church in Paris, Texas, with Rev. Steve Gunter officiating.
Teresa was born on February 14, 1966, in Paris, Texas, to Randell and Martha Gentry. She dedicated much of her life to the Paris Independent School District, working as a Teacher's Aide at T.G. Givens Elementary School, where her compassion and commitment left a lasting impact on students and colleagues alike.
Teresa found joy in spending time with her grandchildren, creating cherished memories that will endure in their hearts forever.
Teresa is survived by her loving partner, Christopher Truan; her daughter, Samantha McCann, and husband, Zachary; her son, Chadlee Mitchell; her beloved grandchildren, Annistyn McCann, Zylan McCann, and Lillie Mitchell; her brother, Steven Gentry, and wife, Denishia; and two nieces, Andria Ellis and husband, Brian, and Raleigh Gentry. Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Randell and Martha Gentry.
Teresa's memory will be treasured by all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
