Born in Brigham City, Utah, on February 17, 1955, Teresa Ruth Oborn was a radiant presence whose warmth and beauty lit up every room she entered. With her long blonde hair and generous heart, she was known not only for her outer beauty but also for the deep love she gave to her family and friends.
She spent over 20 years as a skilled cosmetologist, bringing confidence and care to those she served. Later, she continued her remarkable work ethic at Parker Hannifin and Boeing, where she built lasting friendships and earned the admiration of many.
Married to her beloved husband, Kelly, for 48 years, their love was a shining example of devotion and companionship. One of her favorite places to be was out on the patio with Kelly, watching hummingbirds dance around the garden they nurtured together. She found joy in life’s simple, quiet moments—relaxing in the sunshine, surrounded by the beauty she created.
She adored her grandchildren and treasured every sleepover, always making them feel safe, loved, and deeply special. Her dogs were her constant companions, and her garden reflected the same gentle care she gave to everything in her life.
Teresa will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the way she made everyone feel at home. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Survived by her beloved husband, Kelly D Oborn; and children; Danielle Sandberg, Nicholas Oborn and Lindsey Bastian. She is also survived by her 12 beloved grandchildren. Preceded in death by her mother, Judith White Mitchell; her father, Lee Jorgensen; and Dale Oborn, Karen Oborn, Carol Daniel, Charles Daniel and Michael Mitchell.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 12: 45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.
