Susanne Burnett Oborn, 84 years old, of North Ogden Utah, passed away on 31 July 2025 after a battle with congestive heart failure and early onset Alzheimer's disease.
Susanne was born on 11 December 1940 to Boyd William and Velda May Burnett in Ogden Utah.
Susanne graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1958 and then married James Roger Oborn in Ogden in 1959, they went on to have 3 children two daughters, Dana, and Vicki Lynn, and a son, Scott Roger. Susanne and Jim later divorced in 1981.
In 2015, Susanne retired from AutoLiv and spent most of her time with her 8 grandchildren, Brandon Carver, Jordan Carver (Julie), KelliAnn Stuart (Dan), Brady Rodriguez (Shaelynn), Kody Rodriguez, Tyler Oborn (deceased 2002), Brittany Aime (Clint), and Sheyna Young Clements (Travis).
Susanne was also blessed with 17 great-grandchildren who have been her greatest treasures. Susanne spent the remainder of her time serving her calling on the Relief Society Activity Board in the church serving others whenever she could.
Susanne was predeceased by her parents Boyd and Velda Burnett, her brother Arlyn Burnett, her sisters LouJean Young, Colleen Cummings, Sharyl Moyes, her daughter Dana Carver, her grandson Tyler Scott Oborn and her ex-husband James Roger Oborn.
Susanne is survived by her brother Dale Burnett (Linda), her Daughter Vicki Lynn Oborn and her son Scott Roger Oborn (Susie).
A small family graveside service will be held on Monday 11 August 2025 at 10:00 AM at the North Ogden Ben Lomond Cemetery.
