A memorial service for Teresa Watson Raley, 66, will be held on Monday, September 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Officiating the service will be John Harp.
Teresa was born on July 27, 1959, to Ronald and Alyne Watson in Shreveport, Louisiana, and passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Teresa was one of those people you never forget. She had a laugh that could fill a room and a personality that made strangers feel like old friends. Teresa worked in human resources in the medical field for many years, and even after retiring, she never stopped being a people person. She genuinely enjoyed connecting with others, she never met a stranger, and she never missed a chance to lift someone’s spirit.
Born and raised in Shreveport, Teresa graduated from Southwood High School in 1977 and was a longtime member of Brookwood Baptist Church. Her faith was a steady part of her life.
She was outgoing, bubbly, and full of life. Her love for her husband was fierce and unwavering, and she held her parents, her son, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, and her sweet dog Sophie close to her heart every single day.
Teresa’s joy was contagious, and her love was deep. She gave generously, laughed loudly, and lived fully. We will miss her more than words can say, but we carry her spirit with us, in every laugh, every hug, and every moment we choose love as she did.
Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Watson. Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Alyne Watson; beloved husband, Earl Raley, Jr.; son, Zachary Raley, and wife, Lauren; grandchildren, Jackson Raley, Ella Raley, and Collin Raley, along with a large and loving extended family.
The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, www.stjude.org.
