Teresa Rua

Teresa passed peacefully at home in Hicksville, NY on March 16th, 2025, at the amazing age of 103. Teresa was born in Kingston, NY on December 21, 1921. She is the daughter of Angelina Sisco and Anthony Qualtere and the last survivor of her seven siblings: Mary, Tommy, Frank, Jennie, Louise, and Agnes.
Teresa is survived by her three children: Lorraine, Diane, and Anthony Jr.. She was the loving grandma to Gina, Lisa, Kim, Tracey, Aliya, and Karis and the great grandma to Corey, Kayla, Cassie, Chloe, Camryn, Thomas John, and Johnny.
Teresa's love of life and the obvious effect she had on everyone that met her is beautifully stated by Lisa, one of her granddaughters. It reads:
" Rest in peace, Grandma. Your love, warmth, and wisdom shaped our lives in ways words can't express. You always made us feel safe and cherished, and your kindness touched everyone who knew you. Though you are no longer with us, your spirit lives on in the memories we hold dear. I miss you deeply and will carry your lessons in my heart forever. You are gone, but your love continues to guide me every day. Thank you for everything you've given us. You will always be loved, never forgotten, and forever remembered. Rest peacefully, Grandma. We love you always."
