Teri Lynn Shafer was born July 1,1963, in Alliance, Ohio. She peacefully passed away July 15, 2024, in Grants NM. A Celebration of Life service for Teri will be held on July 22, 2024 at 2pm at the Mt Taylor Funerals and Cremations Chapel in Grants, NM.
Teri was beloved wife and mother who took great pride in her family. Teri is survived by her husband and best friend Stephen "Bubba" Shafer who will deeply mourn her loss. She is also survived by her mother Charlotte Crider and sister Roberta "Bobbie" Puckett. Children Chasity Gorby, Brandy Reinhart , Andrew Gonzales, and John Robert McLaughlin. Grandchildren Destiny, Cheyanne, Nathan, Breanna, Kenny, Kendra, Blake, Eli, Sammy, David, Rhianna, and Bentlee. Her great grandchildren Alexis, Serenity, Josiah, Kinsley, Preston, Zayden, Janniah, Jo'anna, Faith, Sophia and Isabelle were a source of light and happiness for Teri. In addition to her surviving family members mentioned above Lily Kauffman holds a place in Teri's heart as well.
She preceded in death by her father Robert Puckett and brother Jeff Puckett. Teri's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the pleasure of knowing her. May she rest in peace as her legacy of love and devotion continues to inspire all who were blessed to have had her touch their lives.
Teri had passion for camping and cherished the moments spent outdoors with her grandkids. Her proudest accomplishments revolved around being a devoted wife and mother.
